ANNE CORNELIA DROBOT (nee VanDer KRAAKE) September 19, 1920 - June 25, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Cornelia Drobot, aged 81 years, on June 25, 2002, at the Red River Place Nursing Home, Selkirk, MB. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Annie VanDer Kraake; brothers, Johnny and Walter; and only granddaughter Stacy Fox. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her devoted husband George, daughter Linda (Harold) Fox, son Brian, and grandson Scott Fox. Anne enjoyed life to the fullest, gardening, travelling, camping and attending country auction sales. Always having a kind word, smile or laugh with, or for those who she came in contact with, touching the lives of everyone she met. Many thanks to the staff at Red River Place, for all their care and compassion given to Anne during the past five years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m., in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held prior to the service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Annes memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society (Manitoba), 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or the Parkinsons Foundation of Canada (Winnipeg Chapter).
