Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE EWASHKO (nee WOLOWETZ) Annie Ewashko, of Sandy Lake, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2002, at the Sandy Lake Personal Care Home at the age of 81 years. Annie was predeceased by her husband Michael in June 1970; three brothers, Bill, Alex, and Joe; and three sisters, Mary, Barbara, and Teenie. She is survived by son Joseph (Penny) Ewashko of Sandy Lake and daughter Rosie Ewashko of Winnipeg. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Michelle, Michael and Elizabeth Ewashko; and many numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Sandy Lake, with Rt. Rev. Mitred Archpriest Orest Hudyma officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Lake Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening at Raes Funeral Chapel, Shoal Lake, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Raes Funeral Service of Shoal Lake and Erickson are in care of the arrangements. (204) 759-2160.
