SYLVIA CONSTANCE COSWAY B.N., M.N. Suddenly at her home in Winnipeg, in her 53rd year. Sylvia Cosway, born in Toronto, was recently hired by the University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, the culmination of scholarship winning, post-graduate studies in epidemiology and community health at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, and at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She is survived by daughter Shannon Price of Vancouver, BC; son Kevin Price of Toronto; sisters, Gloria Martin (Cosway) and Jim of Newmarket and Carolyn Crabtree (Cosway) of Brampton; brothers, William Cosway and Jean of Acton and John Cosway of Ajax; and former husband Terry Price of Halifax. Also greatly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Sylvias first nation friends at Grassy Narrows, ON, will be among family and friends at a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28 at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Cremation to follow. A second service will be held later in Halifax. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sylvias memory to The Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research Centre of Manitoba Inc., 300-153 Lombard Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 0T4, or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
