DONALD GARTH LEARY On June 26, 2002 after a long and well-fought battle with cancer, Donald Garth Leary passed away peacefully, with family at his side, in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Hospital. He leaves behind to carry on his memory his loving wife Elsie; his three children, Lynette, Kelvin and Sharon; his sister Ina; brothers, Bryson and Carl; seven grandchildren, as well as extended family and countless friends. Don was a kind, generous and fun-loving man who believed in the importance of family and friends, and living life to the fullest. Even through the pain of his illness, he always thought of the welfare of others before himself. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. A memorial ceremony will be held at the Leary home on August 10 and is open to anyone who wishes to help celebrate Dons life. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. Doyles Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
