MILDRED MORRISON On Thursday, June 27, 2002, at the Grace Hospital, Mildred Morrison, 84 years, passed away peacefully. Mildred is survived by her brother Elton Morrison. She was predeceased by her parents, William in 1973 and Effie in 1998; her brother Harry Morrison in 1950. Mildred worked at the Victoria General Hospital and the Deer Lodge Veterans Hospital for 34 years before retiring. She will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends: Robert and Janie Brown and their family in Victoria, BC, Ken and Babe Hollywood and their family of Sharbot Lake, ON, Mrs. Leona Ducharme and family, Mrs. V.E Morrison and family of Edmonton, AB, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mayette of Lavalla, TX, Lois Mayette and family of Watertown, NY, Pat Sharlow of Waddington, NY. Thanks for the weekly cards to say hello. Mildred was a member of the Winnipeg Citadel Church of the Salvation Army now called Southland Community Church of the Salvation Army. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St., with Majors Larry and Phillis Fudge officiating. Interment to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Donations my be made in Mildreds memory to the Salvation Army Palliative Care Unit, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7.
