Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRTLE ELIZABETH FULLER (nee CALDER) Born May 27, 1913, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2002. She was predeceased by her loving husband Harry C. Fuller, March 13, 1978 and brothers, Don and Jack Calder. Myrtle spent her youth in Kelso, SK then ventured off to Winnipeg where she met and married Harry. Military life took them to Ft. McLeod, Souris, but mainly Winnipeg. They relocated to Victoria in August 1966 where she resided until September 1992 when she went to live close to her daughter in Langley. She moved to Nanaimo in September 1999 to live close to her son, being one of the first occupants of Lakeside Gardens. She leaves to mourn her sister Ruby Calder in Wawota, SK, son Don Fuller of Nanaimo and daughter-in-law Donna, Joan Desmeules, Jack of Kelowna; grandchildren, Lynn Desmeules (Peter), Darryl Desmeules and Marcia Desmeules, Michelle Fuller, Terry and Darren Fuller. Two great-granddaughters, Kaileigh and Kairos; sisters-in-law, Margaret McKeown of Mission, BC and Emily Amy of Calgary, AB; and many nieces and nephews. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff of the fourth floor at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and George of the Physiotherapy department. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at 1:30 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel Victoria, 1803 Quadra St., followed by interment in the Royal Oak Cemetery. Sands Funeral Chapel, Nanaimo, BC in care of arrangements.
