ELLA HARTZ Peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2002, Ella aged 97 years, passed away at Willowdale Nursing Home in Armstrong, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Ed in 1985. Ella will be loved and sadly missed by her sister Beatrice Courtois and nephew Alex Favell. Ella was born and grew up at Winnipeg Beach before moving to Winnipeg to work for the T. Eaton Company in the mail order division. Ella and Ed resided in Winnipeg until 1972 when they moved to Vernon, BC. Ella was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Eatons retirees club. Ella enjoyed travelling and trying her luck at casinos in Vernon and Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with interment and reception to follow. The family wishes to thank the staff at Willowdale Nursing Home for their kind and considerate care.
