HELEN DRAYSON Peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2002 Helen Drayson passed away at the Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 98 years. Helen was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and came to Canada in 1924. She married Albert Victor Drayson who predeceased her in 1972. Left to cherish her memory are one son Albert Herbert Drayson (Thomasina) of Winnipeg; two daughters, Helen Marjorie Colvine (Garnet) of Arden, MB and Eva Joyce Mills Roberg (George) of Florida; five grandchildren, Allan James Colvine (Corrine) of Winnipeg, Joan Shirley Majury (Kim) of Winnipeg, Lori Marlene Brooking (Art) of Neepawa, David Alexander Mills (Theresa) of Blaine, MN and Bonnie Joy Mills of Orlando, FL; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Helen was a member of the Sons of Scotland Branch No. 87, the Robert Burns Club, the Imperial Royal Canadian Legion No. 84, the St. James Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary No. 4, the Over 60 Retired Club of the Branch No. 4 of the Royal Canadian Legion, the International War Veterans Alliance, and a life member of the United Church. Cremation has taken place at Helens request and a private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
