S. IRIS JONASSON (Sigurlaug) Iris Jonasson (Eirikson), aged 84, fell asleep in death on June 30, 2002 at the Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Gilli (Gisli), father Oskar, mother Emma (Ingibjorg Elin), brother Ralph, brother-in-law Ernie Brewster, and daughter-in-law Cindy. She will be greatly missed by her son Keven; sister Ellen Brewster; brothers, Eirikur Eirikson (Blanche), Allan Eirikson (June) sister-in-law Mickey; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She firmly believed in Gods Word the Bible and looked forward to the time when the whole earth would be a paradise under Gods Kingdom. Iris had been a member of the Silver Heights Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses and until her health failed, had been active in sharing this hope along with the Bibles promise of a resurrection, when sickness and death will be no more (John 5:28, 29; Rev. 21:4) A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2002 at the Silver Heights Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, 325 Wallasey St., Mr. Paul Vouk officiating. The family would like to thank nursing staff at the Deer Lodge Centre 3 South and 7 West, and staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and support.
