DWIGHT W. WEEKS On Tuesday July 2, 2002, Dwight Weeks, aged 55, passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. His family would like to thank the staff at St. B for the superb loving care that was given to Dwight. Thanks Kelly, Jeannette, Sheila, et al! Left to remember Dwight are his dad Wendell of Enderby, BC; sister Darlene (Barry) Hood of Lac du Bonnet, MB; brother Wade (Anna) and their children, Kevin, Ryan and Cheryl of Kelowna, BC, plus his many good friends. Dwight was predeceased by his mom, Dorothy. Dwight was born in Bissett, MB on April 3, 1947, and spent his adult life in Winnipeg. He had an outstanding sales career with Willsons and Grand & Toy, and many of his customers became friends. More than anything, he enjoyed visiting his family and his friends for cards, conversation or whatever! Dwight was a founding member of the never to be famous Pickerel Patrol, and loved his annual fishing trips with his Pickerel Patrol buddies. There are no better friends than Dwight, and even as he suffered, he continued to put family and friends first. Perhaps Dwights greatest gift was making people smile. He was a joy to be around, and he will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. A private celebration of his life was held July 5th in his home.
