LOUISA ROSE JACKLIN It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Louisa Rose Jacklin on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at the Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 94. Lou leaves to mourn her loss, her niece Linda Verschoore and Lindas children, Kevin (Barbara), Dale (Lorna), Kim (Rick), their families and Tracy. She is also remembered by great-nieces, Sue Pelleck (Don) and Kelly Bathie (Bruce) and their families. Lou was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Rosalie; her sister Alice; brother-in-law Joe and niece June. Lou worked for the Provincial Government for 49 years until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the cottage at Ingolf, ON. The family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge who cared for Lou over the years. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 5 at 11:30 a.m. at Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lous memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, R2L 1X3.
