Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY MARY KNAGGS (nee TWERDUN) It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Emily on Sunday, June 30, 2002 at the age of 59. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Twerdun; and an older brother Ron. She will be missed by her husband Bob; her children, Roberta, Rock (Dalene), Fawn and Darlene; her sister Pat (Orest) her brothers, Bob (Darlene) and Barry (Linda) numerous nieces and nephews. Emily grew up in Shoal Lake, MB. After high school she attended teachers college and taught in Manitoba for several years. In 1967 she married Bob and moved to Saskatoon, and later to Delisle where she lived for the last 25 years. Emily taught preschool in Deslisle for 15 years until she was no longer able to. Emily enjoyed teaching children and would often come home with many tales from her day. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Acadia Drive Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Dr., Saskatoon, SK, with Pastor Garth Carter presiding. Interment will take place in the Delisle cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Neurofibromatosis (Nf) Association of Saskatchewan or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to John Janex and Mervin G. Oleksyn, ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL (306-955-1600).

Such a amazing teacher and friend she was and always be a great role model too me . We had a bond that I cannot forget . She has done so much you can't even imagine . Really miss our great times Emily and our adventures through my grade 11 English correspondence I'll never forget :) . I'm glad your in a better place and hope too see you again.
