Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY ALPIN TALBOT It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and untimely death of Harry Alpin Talbot on July 2, 2002. He has received his final wings of glory and is on his own way home. Born in Quebec City in 1928. His younger years were spent doing what he loved the most; aviation. After meeting and falling in love with Christine Corbin they were married July 9, 1955 and blessed with four children, Rick and wife Joanne (nee Dusessoy), Kathy and husband Bob, Donna and her family, Andrew and wife Kerry (nee Hodge) and nine grandchildren. After the passing of his first wife Christine, he met a very special lady and fell in love with Shirley Mayor and started a new life together with an extended family. The love and caring they shared for each other was immeasurable. They lived life to the fullest. After moving to Neepawa in 2001 they became involved in many activities and were rarely apart from each other. During his life span Harry was involved in many volunteer activities including the aviation council for which he was an honourary life time member. The Kiwanis Club of St. James where he held many roles including President Lt. Governor of St. James. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and had recently joined the Chamber in his new home in Neepawa. He was an outgoing and vibrant person who was well liked by all. He will be sorely missed by his family and his extended family. Well miss you Daddy Cremation has taken place, a memorial service celebrating his life will be held Friday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 197 Browning Ave. Rev. Ian Shaw presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Harry Talbot, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
