MICHELE MARTHE MARIE HALCHAKAR On Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Health Sciences Centre, Michele Halchakar died at the age of 58 years. She is survived by her daughter Lana Naismith and son Jean Paul Halchakar (Rhonda), as well as a former husband and friend for many years Grant Halchakar. She is also survived by her brothers, Gerard Recht (Magda), Guy Recht and Roger Recht (Muriel), Jean Marie Recht; sisters, Arlette Recht and fiance Raymond, Nicole Picard (Guy) who all reside in Belgium. Numerous nieces and nephews in both Belgium and Winnipeg. Michele was predeceased by her mother in 1999 and father in 1970 as well as a brother Freddy Recht in 1987. Special thanks to all friends and family who were so supportive and helpful to our family when we needed you most. Caregivers at Health Sciences Center MICU and GA 4 for their compassion and professional care of our mother. Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., on July 5 at 6:30 pm. In honouring our mothers wishes, a private family interment at the family plot will take place in the future.
