MARLENE ALICE MARSCH Peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, Marlene Marsch, aged 60 years, passed away. Marlene was born October 13, 1941 and lived her entire life in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her loving husband George in July of 1998. Marlene was a wonderful mother and wife as well as having enjoyed careers as a manager at Pizza Place restaurants, and later working with people with disabilities at Versatech Industries Inc. She had a proud, independent spirit and a great sense of humour. In recent years her favourite times were those spent with her family, including her two newest grandchildren, Emma and Katie. She will be dearly missed by daughters, Candice and Janice; sons, Darryl and Vance; son-in-law Bob; daughters-in-law, Paula and Connie; grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Rachel, Dayne, Paul, Andrew, Nichol, Liam, Emma and Katie; great-granddaughter Kori; brother Stan; sister Viola; brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws, and countless nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Warren in the Respiratory Department at Health Sciences Centre for his caring professionalism. "We will miss you Mom, but we take comfort in knowing that you are now reunited with your beloved George." Visitation will take place on Monday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., also in the Chapel.
