MICHAEL MARIAN MORYL 1923 - 2002 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved father and grandfather on July 2, 2002. His wife Catherine predeceased him on January 1, 1994. Dad will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving son Leon; and two precious grandsons, Jordie and Taj Moryl. His devoted daughter Angie and husband Richard Durham. His two loving granddaughters, Tanya and husband Grant Dunn, Tammy and husband Doug Johnson; along with the newest member to the family, his great-grandson baby Jayden Johnson. Dad was born in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He served with great honour for his country during the Second World War. It was during this time he met Mom in Scotland where they lived until 1957 and then immigrated to Canada where they made Winnipeg their home. Dad worked for National Motors for a few years and then opened his own upholstery shop (Almac Auto Trim). He remained in the business up until his retirement. After a very short break decided to go back to work and he became a Security Guard at St. Vital Centre where he worked for many wonderful years. An outdoor memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6 at 9:00 a.m. in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Trans-Canada East at Navin Road. Fr. Gerry Ward will officiate a graveside service in the Garden of the Crucifixion. Following Dads wishes, cremation has taken place. Dads love for animals had no boundaries. Therefore if family or friends so desire, donations can be made in his memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
