PETER BLAHUT August 23, 1915 - July 4, 2002 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather on July 4, 2002. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne in May of 1989. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Peter and Wayne (Debbie) of Winnipeg, and his daughter Margaret (Victor) of Regina. He will be greatly missed by his eight grandchildren, David, Daniel, Charlotte, Calvin, Karl, Michael, Gordon and Krista, and his two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Rachelle. Peter is also survived by his brothers, Nick, Bill, Fred, Harry, and Edward, and his sisters, Kay, Sophie, and Evelyn. Peter was born and raised in the Yorkton, SK area and settled in Winnipeg where he worked and raised his family. Peter enjoyed the company of the Seniors Group at his church, where he enjoyed playing cards and bowling. Peter will be fondly remembered by many. He will mostly be remembered for his kind heart, the smiles and laughs he put on peoples faces he met during the course of his lifetime. Mass will be held July 8 at 2:00 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Marys Rd. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Peters memory.
