Jim was born in Glenboro, MB and resided in Winnipeg for most of his adult life. He was a carpenter by trade and blessed with many talents, taking pleasure in cooking, gardening, and woodworking. He is survived by his former wife and good friend Brenda; siblings, Pearl (Herman), Edith (Jack), Eileen, Gordon, and Shirley (George) his children, Michelle (John), Christopher, and Maxine; granddaughters, Raven, Kenya, Shae, and Asia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
