S. LYNNE CHESTER December 6, 1942- July 5, 2002 Quietly, following a hard-fought battle with cancer, Lynne Chester, aged 59, passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Lynne will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her mother Lillian Chester; brothers, Lew and Lyall; nieces and nephews, Camille, Debbie, Adam, Thomas, Paul, Brock; great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin, Alec, Dae-lee, Darra, Grace, Halle and Alexandra. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Lynne was an independent spirit, living her life exactly the way she wanted. A traveler and adventurer, she lived a number of years in the West Indies, later relocating to Ontario. Most of her adult life, Lynne enjoyed the excitement of living in the heart of Toronto. Her career was colourful, holding various administrative positions over the years with Volkswagon, Alcoa, and the Toronto Star among others. She returned to Manitoba and her family several years ago. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Grace Hospital for the compassionate care they showed to Lynne.
