SIDNEY ERNALD MACBETH 1915 - 2002 A humble man has left us to celebrate his life and continue his legacy. He was an exceptional person, son, brother, learner, Second World War veteran, Mason, Shriner, Monarchist, Conservative, writer, godfather, fine gentleman, remarkable father, grandfather, and, above all else, loving husband. Intelligent, kind, positive, forthright, principled, exact, and exacting, wise, and always grateful for his life, he taught us many lessons. Devoted to his family, his determination, strength, loyalty and especially his faith guided his life and by example became a model for all. His son John, daughter-in-law Joanne, grandchildren, Ainslie and Bryan (Jenni), lifetime friends, Jim and Helen; nephews, Travis and Douglas; niece Sharon, god-daughter Clair; sister-in-law Dorothy; and her children, Bonnie, Paul, and Susan; and above all others, his wife Hazel (Val) will miss him greatly. At his request a family graveside service will be held at St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9. A reception will follow in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway at 2:30 p.m. We hope friends will be able to join us at this time. Life aint all yer wants, But its all yer as, So... ave it!
