LEONARD SUMNER It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, son, and friend, Leonard Charles Sumner of Fairford, MB, on July 2, 2002 at the age of 52 years. Leonard leaves to mourn his passing his mother Mary Jane Sumner of Winnipeg, sisters, Rosaleen (John) Sanderson, Beatrice, of Winnipeg, and Jean Williams of Edmonton; brothers, Samuel (Doreen) of Little Saskatchewan, and Ernest (Bernadette) Sumner of Calgary. Leonard was predeceased by his father Robert Sumner in 1998, brothers, George Sumner in 1985, Lawrence Sumner in 1998, and Clifford in infancy; sister Bella Sumner in 2000; and his grandmother Elizabeth Bruce in 1993. Leonard lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He was very caring and looked after his family when they needed his help. Leonard will be always loved and remembered. The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Police Department and the Ambulance attendants of Winnipeg, for their help during Leonards time of need. An evening service will be held on Monday, July 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, No. 9 Railway Ave., Ashern, MB.
