CONCHITA BATAC MANABAT Saturday, August 11, 1945 - Friday, July 5, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of an angel, Conchita Batac Manabat, beloved wife of Diosdado Manabat, on Friday, July 5, 2002 at the Victoria General Hospital, who left us peacefully, to be in the hands of God. She will be lovingly remembered, and her memory will be forever cherished by all the people who loved her, especially her husband Diosdado; her children, Odette, Eric, Maricel, Ysmael and Cynthia; along with her many friends including the De Vera, Abanto, Cuisia, Del Castillo, Saenvoravong and Francisco families; as well as by the many other people who knew and loved her. Lamay will be held on Wednesday, July 10 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight (prayer vigil 8:30 p.m.), at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., with Msgr. Maurice Comeault P.H., V.F. presiding. Conchita will be returned to her homeland in the Philippines, for burial at a later date. An angel sent from God, who touched the hearts of many. No other words can describe the kind of person Conchita was. "You will never be forgotten You will forever be in, our hearts, and minds" Because you truly are one of a kind...
