Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCEL ROBERT LANGHAN It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our husband, father and son, Marcel on July 7, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Debbie (nee Setterland) his children, Jasmine and Quinn. Marcel also leaves to mourn his mother Denise; brothers, Michel (Irene), Paul (Mary), Alain (Debbie), Gerard (Carmel) along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and in-laws. He was predeceased by his father Emile in February 2001. Marcel was born in St. Pierre, MB on July 3, 1957 and later moved to Winnipeg. He enjoyed a career as a rail traffic controller for C.P. Rail until he was forced to retire due to illness. He missed work greatly and continued to railroad with his friends whenever possible. Anyone who knew Marcel was also aware of his great passion for fishing. Just to be out on the water, fishing rod in hand, brought him a peace and comfort that always seemed to sustain him during more trying times. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11 at the St. Bernadettes Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., with Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Service will terminate at church with a reception to follow. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who have taken care of Marcel throughout his illness, your kindness will not be forgotten.
