JUDY ANNE LAVALLEE (PASNAK)
Date of Passing: Jul 08, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDY ANNE LAVALLEE (nee PASNAK) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of our wife, mother and grandmother, Judy Anne Lavallee, with her family at her side, on Monday, July 8, 2002. She leaves wonderful memories for her husband of 41 years, Lionel and their children, Janine (Bruce) Russell, Lyn (Joe) and Gail (Bryon). She will be greatly missed by her special grandchildren, Bryant, James and Julia. Judy also leaves behind her brothers and sisters, Allen (Judi) Pasnak of Vancouver, Tim Pasnak of Vancouver, Linda (Nick) Helbing of Golden, BC, Penny Pasnak (Peter) of Revelstoke, BC, Tao (Irene) Pasnak of Winnipeg, Stella (Steve) Scrabailo of Ottawa, ON and Eugene Pasnak of Vancouver; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Judy was born and raised in the North End of Winnipeg. She attended Aberdeen School and St. Johns High School. She was very proud of the fact that she obtained her Grade 12 and Red River College Business Administration Certificate while working and taking care of her family. At the time of her death, Judy was employed by the Winnipeg Free Press, where she had worked for 22 years. Judy enjoyed life greatly. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed trips with her family. Her greatest joy in life was watching as her grandchildren learned and experienced life through their innocent eyes. In her spare time, she taught Catechism, Sunday school and Brownies and volunteered extensively with numerous organizations. Mom was a friend who brought sunshine and laughter your way and always put everyone before herself. She supported you in all that you did. She had been at the heart of so many glad moments, and shared precious memories with all of us. She knew how we had changed, and how we had grown through the years. Mom was the comfort of the family, and the touch of home. She was a beautiful blessing of love. She didnt want anyone to be sad that she is gone, but happy that she was, and always will be, a part of each of us. We would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Seven Oaks Hospital, Dr. Wilson, Dr. Lezack and his nurses (especially Debbie), and the WRHA Palliative and Home Care. Their care and compassion were greatly appreciated. In keeping with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin St., Msgr. Maurice Comeault will officiate. Donations to the Palliative Care Program at Seven Oaks Hospital in Judys name would be greatly appreciated. We will love you and miss you always!

I had the opportunity to work with Judy for 3 years. A wonderful, thoughtful person. Always encouraging and caring. She will be greatly missed. I will always remember our afternoon coffees together. The great advise and thoughtfulness. Good bye Judy. - Posted by: Donna Besteck (co-worker) on: May 29, 2017
