EMILY DELIA HOOPER (nee RIVARD) Peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2002 at her residence at Lions Prairie Manor, Emily Delia Hooper passed away at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband George; son Jack; and all her brothers and sisters. Emily will be lovingly remembered by sons, Leslie (Gisele) of Winnipeg and Ken (Darlene) of Lethbridge; along with nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Wayne Morrissey on Friday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Sask. Ave. E., Portage la Prairie. Rosary to be prayed at 12:30 p.m. (half-hour before funeral mass). Interment is to follow at Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Emilys memory to the Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc., 24 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3V4. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Emily by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021.
