Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNN McLEAN It is with great sorrow that the family of Lynn McLean (nee Carlson) announces her untimely passing on Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Lynn was born in Winnipeg on February 1, 1949. She was predeceased by her parents, Norm and Jean. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bill; daughter Jennifer; son Andrew; and Joanne who has become such a special part of our family. Brother Bob, his wife Marlene; and nieces, Kellie and Samantha. Lynns hands were never idle and the joy and love she shared with her tremendous quilting talents will keep her memory alive in all who received her handy-work. Lynn was always ready to help others in time of sorrow. She loved to talk, but even more she was a great listener. Lynn, your support of me in my career was unwavering, you were one of a dying breed, a stay at home mom who measured your success in love and service to your family. The Okanagan wine tours, visiting every quilt shop in Canada and a lot in the U.S., as well as the "home made" wine bottling with a goodly amount of sampling were the best of times. You will always be "my girl", I will always be "your guy" and you will always be "mom" to Drew and Jen. Thank you for everything you gave us. A memorial service will take place at Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Ave., Winnipeg, MB. 10 a.m., Friday, July 12. Pastor Brad Schollenberg, who helped us so much and was so special to Lynn will officiate. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to the Peace Lutheran Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society in Lynns name would be most appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
