GEORGINA HUPE August 8, 1920 - July 9, 2002 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Georgina Hupe on July 9, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 82 years old. Georgina is survived by her common-law husband of 23 years Gilbert Ducharme, her brother Sam Hupe, her sister Alynne Prouex, and many nieces, nephews, stepchildren and many friends. Georgina was predeceased by her parents, John and Dolores Hupe; her brother Jullian Hupe; and her sister Marie Trouand. Georgina was born in Richer, MB and came to Winnipeg in the 1950s. She loved to go to the cabin in St. Rita, MB. She also loved working in the garden and planting flowers. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rita, MB, with interment to follow in St. Rita Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Delorme, Darrell Ducharme, Garrett Ducharme, Marc Hupe, Bill Kielly and Dennis Ducharme. We would like to thank the staff at the Riverview Health Centre. P. COUTU & CO.
