MARY STOCKI 1918 TO 2002 Peacefully in her sleep at the Arborg District Health Centre, Mary passed away at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1986; her parents, Thomas and Lena Golas; three brothers, Albert Golas, Mike Golas and Frank Golas. She is survived by her sons, Marvin(Janet) Stocki of Zbaraz, MB, John (Anne) Stocki of Lockport, MB; one daughter Mildred (Ed) Denesyk of Lockport; brothers, Stanley, John, Mat, Joe and Paul; sisters, Vickie, Adele; grandchildren, Kevin Stocki, Mark Stocki, Shannon (Richard) Hartwich, Melanie Denesyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. With Joseph by Marys side, they pioneered in breaking and clearing land and building up their property. She spent her spare time on her vegetable and flower gardens. Mary socialized with their neighbours and friends, playing cards and visiting. She always loved a good challenge playing cribbage. Special thank you to the staff at the Arborg Hospital, home care workers and a very special thank you to Marge Podaima, Marys doctor, Brandes and Michelle from CancerCare at Health Sciences Centre. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Fisher Branch, with Fr. Dave Kowalski officiating. Interment will be at the Zbaraz cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fisher HandiVan in Mary Stockis memory. Mom, your long hard battle ends, but your peace and happiness begins. Give Dad a big hug from us, and with watchful eyes help guide our families. Always in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Love you forever. Your children.
