MARIE ELSIE BELL (nee DUBLAND) June 27, 1924 - April 9, 2004 It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Friday, April 9, 2004 at Concordia Hospital. Marie is lovingly remembered by her husband Andrew; her children, Bev (Eric), Brian; her grandchildren, Krista (James), Rick (Melanie) and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Jordan. Also mourning her passing are brothers, Olaf (Helen), Abe (Helen), Harold (Donna) and loving sisters, Elsie, Pearl, Myrt (Jim) brother-in-law Vic (Betty) and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a kind and compassionate person who was loved by all who met and knew her. We will all miss her dearly. Our family would like to extend thank you to the wonderful staff on the third floor at Concordia Hospital for all their care. A memorial service will be held at the Transcona Funeral Home, 1200 Day St. on Wednesday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Marie to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice.
