ROBERT JACKSON It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Jackson, beloved husband of Edna, on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Concordia Hospital. Besides his loving wife, Bob leaves to mourn daughter Helen (Rick) son Ralph; granddaughters, Cathy, Dee and Candace; three great-grandchildren, two sisters and other relatives in England. He was predeceased by his first wife Eileen. Bob was born in England on April 15, 1921. He joined the British Air Force and was stationed in France. He immigrated to Canada with his first wife Eileen and daughter. Many of us will remember Bob, owner and operator of Highway Lunch. After retirement, Bob met and married Edna and they loved to travel. Bob was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital for all their care and compassion. According to Bobs wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with The Rev. W. E. B. Oakley officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobs memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or to a charity of ones choice.
