JUDITH ELIZABETH STROBBE (nee DOUSSELAERE) September 19, 1915- July 11, 2002 It is with great sadness that the family of Judith Elizabeth Strobbe announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her husband predeceased her, on January 26, 1975. She will be missed by her children, Mary Louise (Alfred) Zorniak, Lorette (late Raymond) Godard, Gerry (Geraldine), Lorne (Beth) and Marlene (Peter) Carnegie and 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Judith was born in Knesselaere, Belgium and immigrated to Canada at the age of six. She lived in the Swan Lake - Holland area until she married Rene and settled on a farm near Starbuck. Judy was a kind, sweet and generous person who was appreciative of anything that was done for her. She loved to garden, socialize, travel and above all, spend time with her family and her grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Church on Monday, July 15, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Viewing one half hour prior to service with burial at the family plot at the Belgium Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Judiths grandsons: Jason Strobbe, Sean Carnegie, Darrell Godard, Ken Zorniak, Bill Watson and Glenn Andersen.
