Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARSHALL HARVEY (SKIP) SUTHERLAND It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Marshall Harvey (Skip) Sutherland, aged 67, on Thursday, July 11, 2002, at Grace General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss are his beloved wife Beverley; children, Caron (Matt), Margie (Jay), Grant (Linda), Kimmy (Jim), Andrew and Gail (Mike) grandchildren, Camille, Veronica, Dwayne, Davina, Clayton, Amanda, Jennifer (Bud), Michelle, Matthew, Randall, Paul, Christopher, Melissa and Dustin; great-granddaughter Jaden; sisters, Donna (Bob) and Lynn. Predeceased by father Donald and mother Evelyn. Skip loved life...he was a people person. Among Skips greatest joys were his wife, his car, and travelling. Leadfoot, as those who survived the trips affectionately knew him, loved to drive anywhere, anytime, for any reason. In younger years, Skip drove cab for Red Patch, and was a manager at A&W. He worked many years at Canada Post, retiring in 1991. Skip enjoyed bowling, playing darts at #9 Legion, and was known as Trashman in the Channel 10 CB Radio Club. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. A private interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff of Grace Hospital, 4 West, Pastor Loveless, the many dedicated homecare workers that cared for Skip, in particular Mrs. Louise Gillman.
