Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET MARGARET WIEGNER (nee LANGNER) Peacefully, on Thursday, July 11, 2002, Violet Margaret Wiegner passed away at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg at the age of 81 years. Violet leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Paul (Susan), Allan (Elaine) daughter Judy; grandchildren, Andrea, Graham, Jonathan, Crystal, Shawn and Karley; sister Cecelia and brother Herb. Violet was predeceased by her husband Paul; sisters, Anna and Ruth, and brothers, Bill and Edward. Violet was born on June 2, 1921 and grew up in Beausejour, MB. She met her husband Paul while working at Stovels Printing Press and they were married on August 20, 1949, making their home in St. Vital. Her favourite hobby was gardening, and she spent many hours canning and pickling the harvest. She continued to garden in her first years at the Convalescent Home. She was a founding member of Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church. Many thanks to all the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their loving care over the years. Their dedication, kindness and friendship made her final years very happy ones. A funeral will be held on Monday, July 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church, 1541 St. Marys Rd.
