Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAUDE NORRIS Peacefully on July 11, 2002 at the Red River Valley Lodge, with family at his side, Claude Norris passed away. After a full 91 years of life, Claude Norris will be lovingly remembered by his seven sons, Charles (Sandra), Wayne (Trish), Tom (Caren), Bob (Rita), Nelson (Connie), Barry (Pauline), and Alan; his 13 grandchildren, Gregory (Tricia), Tracy (Mark), Amanda, Darren (Julia), Angie (Chris), Pamela (Curtis), Tim (Jill), Racheal (Adam), Charlene, Lori (Brian), David, Vicki, Mathew, Jeffrey, Lindsey; his six great-grandchildren, Chantel, Travis, Stephanie, Scott, Caleb and Marrisa. Claude will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Allan (Susan), Lloyd; his sisters, Ruth (Ed) Breyfogle, Joyce Smith; sisters-in-law Helen and Tillie; brothers-in-law, Francis (Becky) Anderson and Raymond Anderson. Claude was predeceased by his wife Doreen; brothers, Albert, Earl, Harold, Howard, Lyle; sisters, Alma and Edna. Claude Norris was born May 22, 1911 in Morris and spent his life there, working, raising his family and "living". Claude served with the Armed Forces in the Second World War and also was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 111. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Red River Valley Lodge, whose care and kindness truly makes the Lodge a home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19 from the Morris United Church in Morris, MB, with interment to follow in the Morris Cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 18 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home in Morris and at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Claude may be made to the Red River Valley Health District Foundation, Box 519, Morris, MB R0G 1K0. Morris Funeral Home, 204-746-2451, in care of arrangements.
