ROSETTA GAUTHIER Peacefully on July 14, 2002, at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Rosetta Gauthier, aged 91 years, a longtime resident of Winnipeg. Rosetta was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1911 and came to Canada in 1912. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg and has been a resident of the Betel Home in Selkirk for the past three years. She was a lifelong member of Kildonan United Church and enjoyed time spent with the church ladies auxiliary. She had a good sense of humour and was always joking and laughing. She enjoyed gardening and times spent with family, especially her grandsons and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry; son Bryan; and brothers and sisters, Arthur, Jack, David, Robert, Harold, David, Grace, Victoria, Sally, Lilly, Mae, Cora and Molly. She is survived by daughter Judith and husband Ed Wozny; grandsons, Bryan (Joy), Barry (Corrie) and Jamie (Cara) great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Danielle and Bradley; brothers, Pat and Gerald; and her sister Helen. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride, West Kildonan, Rev. T. Maunder officiating. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare, PO Box 2248, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
