KATHERINE KROEKER (nee UNRAU) Peacefully, on July 14, 2002, at the Riverview Health Centre, Katherine Kroeker passed away at the age of 92 years. Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ed (Joyce) Kroeker, Alvina (Don) Easom and Ben (Gerrie) Kroeker; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Peter and Ben (Sarah) four sisters, Anne, Helen, Agnes and Margaret, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Peter C. Kroeker, two brothers and five sisters. Bethel Place had been Katherines home since 1980. Here she built many lasting and dearly cherished friendships. All those who knew her, loved her, and will remember her fondly. Special thanks to the staff of Victoria General Hospital and Riverview Health Centre for their love, care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave. Viewing will be prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lowe Farm Cemetery, Lowe Farm, MB. at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations to Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0G7, would be appreciated.
