Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) WERBIN Peacefully on July 15, 2002, Bill passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ruth; and his three children, Carla (Eric), Janice (Tom) and Brent; his five grandchildren, Sandra (Keith), Holly (Jack), Paul, Leah and Jennifer. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty, Barbara (Ron) his brother-in-law Ken (Val) and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Ruth; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father; and by brothers, Jim, Tony, Robert; and sisters, Frances and Val. Bill was born in Winnipeg and attended George V and Lord Selkirk School. He was employed by Manitoba Hydro for 14 years and worked as an Electric/Gas inspector for the federal government for 34 years. He retired on June 28, 1991. Bill was blessed with excellent health until recently and had never taken a sick day throughout his entire career. He enjoyed walking up to 10 kilometers on a good day. He always looked forward to a beer with "the boys" at the Royal Canadian Legion No. 81 on Trent Avenue. Above all, Bill had a passion for life and even taught himself how to operate a computer well past the age of 70. Bills love of life will always be remembered and cherished. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3 would be greatly appreciated. WERESCHUK FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0929
