NOEL LaFLECHE After a brief illness, Noel LaFleche passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his mother Florestine Caron and father Louis LaFleche; brothers, Lucien, Camille, Adrien, Philippe, Rene, Gerard, Raoul and Jude; sisters, Marie Aimee, Missionary Oblate Sister of St. Charles, Angele and Odile. Left to mourn his passing nephew Arthur (Barb) of Stonewall and their children, Danielle and Nikki, and numerous other nephews and nieces. Also left to mourn are sisters-in-law, Beatrice LaFleche (Kirouac) and Therese LaFleche, and brother-in-law Aime Caron. Noel was a pioneer of St. Charles Parish, where he was born and lived all of his life. Noel farmed for the majority of his life, and also worked in construction. Noel will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St., with Rev. Mike Moore presiding. Interment will follow in the family plot at the St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family would like to thank Riverview Health Centre for all of their care and compassion shown towards Noel, and also special thanks to good friend and neighbour Henri Bohemier for helping and visiting Noel over the years.
