WALTER PARK Peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2002 at Portage General Hospital, Walter Park, aged 75 years, passed away. Walter was born on March 7, 1927 at Lake Francis. He was educated in Lake Francis where he later farmed with his brother Harry and built up a large herd of registered Ayrshire dairy cattle. After his retirement he moved to Portage la Prairie and enjoyed seeing the world and then moved back to Lake Francis. Predeceased by his parents, Jonathon and Agnes; one sister Margaret; and three brothers, Harry, Jack and Bill. Walter is survived by one brother Harold (Jane) of Airdrie, AB and one brother-in-law Tom Nixon of Eriksdale, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. At Walters request a graveside service of family and friends will be held at Lake Francis Cemetery on Saturday, July 20 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Portage General Hospital.
