LARRY GROSENICK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, though peaceful passing of Larry Grosenick, on Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at the age of 69 years. Larry was born to Alice and Otto Grosenick and grew up on their farm near Tilney, SK, with his younger brothers, Don (Glenys) Grosenick and Bob (Diana) Grosenick. After graduation from the RCMP Training Centre, Larry spent 28 years stationed in various areas throughout Manitoba, retiring as Sergeant. He was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Masons and past Patron of Eastern Star. Larry was predeceased by his wonderful father Otto and infant daughter Arlene. He will be sadly missed by his mother Alice Grosenick of Moose Jaw; daughter Shannon (Ed) Fehr of Winfield BC; daughter Barbara (Mike) Nash of Winnipeg; son Glen (Sherrie) Grosenick of Winnipeg; and their mother Mary Ann. Larry also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, Tara, Derek, Shawn, Robyn, Cassandra, Alissa, and one yet to arrive; his best friend Isobel; nieces, nephews, family and friends. Over the years Larry had many hobbies. He never tired of learning and always found life and people to be of great interest. Our thanks to Dr. Kelly and staff of the SICU Regina General, for their excellent care of one we held so dear. Memorial services will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw on Saturday, July 20 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will take place at Prairie Memorial Crematorium with private Memorialization to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert St., Regina, SK, S4R 2N2, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Larry, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register book at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (obitbulkloaduaries).
