RICHARD JOHN STEFANIUK March 26, 1953 - July 17, 2002 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rick after his courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind one brother Ed (Ellie) of Beausejour; sister Shirley (Larry) Bott of Thunder Bay, ON; sister Fran (Fred) Volkmar of Surrey, BC; five nieces, Dawn, Cory, Kim, Denise, Kristina; and two stepnieces, Francine and Corinne; two nephews, Eddie and Paul; and numerous grandnieces and nephews. Ricky was predeceased by his mother Victoria in 1984 and his father Steve in 1993. Ricky lived all his life in Winnipeg, having been employed at Building Products for over 30 years, a job which he truly loved. He was a kind-hearted individual, who never seemed to lose his temper. He was a generous, giving person to all who knew him. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Vivian, Gary, Ron, Glenn, and his special friend Angie and also to the management and staff at Building Products. A special thanks to all the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their caring and kindness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., Winnipeg.
