Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES ROBERT STANLEY Peacefully on July 18, 2002, at the Maycourt Hospice, Ottawa, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71. Loving son of Mary Jane (Molly) Stanley and Louis Stanley (deceased), brother of Maureen (McIntyre) and predeceased by his brother Glen. Jim will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Germaine (Glen) and his brother-in-law Joe McIntyre. Jim was a loving uncle to Sheila McIntyre (Eric), Michael McIntyre (Sharron), Stephen McIntyre (Caroline), Jim McIntyre (Bonnie), Greg McIntyre (Karen), Louise Goulet (Paul), Michelle Charrier (Peter), Marc Stanley, and Patrice Stanley. Jim also leaves many grandnieces and grandnephews. Jim had a long career in the travel business in Ottawa and in Winnipeg and leaves many friends and acquaintances. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Ottawa, on Saturday, July 20 at 11:00 oclock a.m. The family will meet friends at the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial of the ashes will take place in Winnipeg. The family extends many thanks to the Maycourt Hospice for their kindness to Jim in his last days.
