WILLIAM ARTHUR WILDE 1916 - 2002 William "Bill" Arthur Wilde passed away at the Grace Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, 2002. He was predeceased by his first wife Lena in 1969. Willie is survived by his wife Anne; his sons, Cliff (Heather) of Victoria, BC, and Floyd (Dianne) of Brunkild; his sister Elva Boyd (George) of Minneapolis, MN; his brothers, Eddie (Ilo) of Winnipeg, and Frankie (Joanne) of Brunkild; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Willie farmed in the Brunkild area most of his life and served his community as a school trustee, municipal councilor, and board member for the local hall and curling club. In addition to fishing, he enjoyed wintering in Indio, California, but he was always eager to return to Brunkild every spring to meet the farmers for coffee in the mornings at the hotel and check up on their crops. Willie (Dad) will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. There will be no funeral at Dads request. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, Palliative Unit, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7. A private memorial will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Team, especially Jennifer, Kathy, Donna, Betty Anne, Lindsay, Marcia, Rhonda and Major Gordon Jarvis for their compassionate care.
