Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALDINE ANN KENNEDY Geraldine passed away on Friday, July 19, 2002 peacefully with her daughter and sister at her side. Left to cherish her memory are her son Patrick Kennedy (Sherall) daughter Elizabeth Ann Olson (Willard) her ex-daugher-in-law, and best friend Diane Kennedy; her grandchildren, Allan Kennedy (Donna), Ted Kennedy (Lucille), Shawna Unrau (Karl), Sheri Chester (Willard), Cassion Olson (Jo-Anne), Elizabeth Olson, Randy Olson (Lisa) great-grandchildren, Aaron Slobodzian, Kandice, and Chelsey Kennedy, Jasmin, and Talachia Chester, Kayla, and Taylor Olson; her sisters, Lucille Barber, and Rose Gillies (Dan) sister-in-law Gladys Thompson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband Tom Kennedy; her parents, Maria and Frank Salevich; her brothers, Joe and John Thompson; her sister Elizabeth Carson; and her grandson Tom Kennedy. She was born in Teulon, MB, married Tom Kennedy in 1929, and spend most of her married life in Flin Flon, MB. She loved to curl, having her sister Lu and sister-in-law Gladys on her team. Geraldine moved to Winnipeg in 1965, and worked at Moores Restaurant, and the former Beefeater Restaurant, until her retirement. She spent many hours knitting and crocheting, and many people were the recipients of her fine handiwork. Geraldine was a very generous and kind person, always ready to help her friends in whatever way she was needed. Her life as a Jehovahs Witness always took first place in her life. An important part of her life was taking the Bibles message of hope to her neighbours, Psalm 37:11,29. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., with Mr. Ken Sallows officiating. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973
