ELAINE ASPREY-DUNNE (nee DOUTHWRIGHT) Peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 20, 2002, Elaine Asprey-Dunne passed away at Victoria Hospital at the age of 63 years. Elaine was predeceased by her husband Clarence in May 1981; as well as her parents, Doris and Cecil Douthwright; sister Sandra; brother Cecil (Mac) daughter Pamela; and grandson Justin. Elaine is survived by her children, Wendy (Brian), Christine (Wade), Helen (Garry), George (Po), David (Debbie) her special friend Aiden Best; and 12 grandchildren; brothers, Don and Gary; sister Pamela; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Elaine was born in Moncton, NB on January 4, 1939, where she lived with her family until moving to Goose Bay, Labrador where she raised her children. Elaine moved to Winnipeg in 1990 to be near her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. A special thank you to nurses Donna and Gail for going way beyond their duty in the care of our mother - we greatly appreciate it. Funeral service for Elaine will take place on Wednesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing one-half hour prior, in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
