ALEXANDER CAMPBELL 1912-2002 It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear dad and grandfather. He passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years at the Deer Lodge Centre. He leaves to mourn his wife Margaret; his daughter Doreen; two sons, Stanley and Morris; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also has three sisters, Madeline McLoed, Florence Flamand, and Mae Louise Campbell, and brother Bob Campbell. He was predeceased by his mother in 1972; and his father in 1973; a son Lawrence 1991; and three sisters, Maggie Longness, Clara Tyler, Alice Campbell. Alex was born in Camperville, MB. He served in the Second World War overseas from 1939 to 1945. He also worked in Sherrit Gordon Mines. Later he moved to Yellowknife, NWT, and worked as a trapper and a fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. We gratefully thank all the staff at Deer Lodge Centre, tower 3 who looked after Alex so well. Prayers will be said Thursday, July 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Campbell, Greg Campbell, Earl Campbell, Carl Campbell, Richard Flamand, Craig Brine. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
