MARGARET HELEN (BAY) FEDYK (nee FEDORICK) It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my mother, Margaret Helen Fedyk on July 19, 2002. Margaret was born in South Polson (Inwood), MB on August 15, 1912. At 13 years of age she left home to live with her sister in Winnipeg. She started working as a domestic and then decided that cooking was her forte and became second cook at the Rupertsland College for girls. She married her first husband Peter Bay and was married for 24 years. After Peters passing, she continued to work at Eatons in the Bake Shop until retirement. Margaret then met and married Anthony Fedyk and moved to Kenora. Margaret is survived by her son Michael Bay, her youngest sister Marlene Zaluski, her niece Sandy (Brian) Delaney, Spruce Grove, AB and nephew Bill (Mary) Galka. Cremation has taken place. Memorial mass will be held on Thursday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Josephs Residence Chapel, 1149 Leila Ave., with Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating. Special thanks to the staff at the St. Josephs Residence for all the care and compassion shown to my mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Josephs Residence, 1149 Leila Ave. R2P 1S6.
