DIANE WILLSON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Diane, on July 23, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre. Diane was predeceased by her mother Audrey and father Gordon. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Marlene (Les) brother Barry (Clare) nieces, Sandi, Laura and Ashley; nephews, Justin and Matthew; and aunt Dorothy (Bob), aunt Ruth, Margaret, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Diane was a truly amazing person to know. She endured her very long and difficult battle with MS with dignity and courage. She remained as always a very kind, generous and thoughtful person. Diane touched the lives and hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Diane had a great enjoyment for the outdoors and always looked forward to her times spent at the cottages at Brereton Lake and Clear Lake. Her hobbies included knitting, cooking, baking and spending playful hours with her precious dog Corby. She loved to read and listen to music. Diane was born in Winnipeg and raised in East Kildonan, the area in which she stayed her entire life. Diane began her career with the MTS and later joined the Bank of Montreal at their Data Centre. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Stephens Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave. A special thanks to all the caregivers who spent so much time caring for our very special sister in her times of need, especially her home care worker Lynne and the staff at Riverview on 4E. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, care of The Treasurer of the Presbytery of Winnipeg, 294 Olive St., Winnipeg, MB R3J 2X1.
