Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDALLAS SHANNON It is with deep sadness and shock that we announce the incredible loss of our son Dallas Wayne Shannon at the young age of only 16. He passed away peacefully at Stonewall Hospital on Monday, July 22, 2002 after a tragic car accident. Left to cherish his great memory are his parents, Chris and Penny Shannon; sisters, Danna and Dawn; his grandparents, Jack and Devona Shannon, and Audrey Bugg. Dallas was also blessed to have so many wonderful uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandpa, Chuck Bugg in 1997. Dallas was born on March 6, 1986 in Brandon, MB. He attended Stonewall Collegiate and started playing a sport called Rugby. He loved the rough and the tough about the game. He was also very active in Horse 4-H for the last 8 years. He was a member of the Young Horse Development Project and had spent the past year training his colt named Patches, which he was supposed to present at the show in Neepawa in August. Dallas loved curling in the winter. He went and got his coaching certificate and helped coach his sisters Pee Wee ball team this past summer. Dallas will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He loved the simple things in life and had a genuine caring, respectful nature. Most of the time he was his fathers shadow, working by his side every day. He would do anything to help a friend out. A funeral service is planned for Friday, August 2 at the Rec Centre in Stony Mountain at 2:00 p.m. So many beautiful memories Sprayed with a million tears Wishing God had spared you For just a few more years. Blessed for the years you were with us, And for the happy times we shared. We know that when you left us, You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, Our chain will link again. Arrangements entrusted to MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall.
