MARIE ELEANOR WAVER (nee BUCKLEY) 1928 - 2002 Private Family Service Peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed from this life in her 74th year at the Selkirk General Hospital. Marie was born in Winnipeg on June 18, 1928. Throughout her life, Maries main focus was always family. During her retirement years, Marie was actively involved in Lions Manor in Winnipeg and later in Betel Home in Selkirk. Marie was predeceased by her husband Bruce; her parents, Thomas and Edythe Buckley; her grandson Troy Isfeld and great-grandson Tyson Winko. Maries proudest accomplishment was her nine children. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara Dion, Elizabeth Homeniuk (Dennis), Marilyn Isfeld (Charlie), Susanna Winko (Gary), April Waver, Pamela Waver (Tim) sons, Tom (Sharon), Michael (Gail) and David (Heather). "Nan" will be greatly missed by her 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five Godchildren. Everyone who knew Marie had truly enjoyed knowing her. A shoulder to lean on, a big hug, and her winning smile, was enough to comfort anyone in times of happiness and sorrow. We all love you dearly. "Mom, your voice on Sunday morning will be sadly missed by each one of us." A private family gathering will be held, in memory. Distance never separates hearts that really care. For memory spans the miles And, in seconds we are there. We hear the voice, we see the smile, And deep inside we know That we can visit anytime, No matter when or where for Distance never separates hearts that really care. We will always be with you Mom/Nan and friend.
